    on the topic of promethius, i am instantly reminded of a public statement from director guillermo del toro concerning how his sci-fi epic “at the mountains of madness” which was to star tom cruise would never be made. the release of promethius kinda sets that possibility to stone as many elements from “madness” were utilized in promethius. He posted this on his official forum at deltorofilms.com. Go read it if you want a better understanding of the statement. From what i understand, he’s been trying to get production for this film started for over 10 years.
