  1. Off-topic but I finally forked out the cash to see Transformers in 3D and it was dreadful! For the most part, it was fine but they wasted too much time on Sam Witwicky’s search for a job and it probably woulda been better if it was trimmed down a little. I also had a headache from the 3D effect. The subplot with Sentinel Prime thing was fine. I just wished they focused more on that.

Oh, almost forgot! 3D Sex & Zen is confirmed to be screening on August 19th in Toronto. I’ve seen it in 2D already. But I’ll probably see it in the theatres just to check out the 3D visuals.

  2. Great show guys – I’d hate to think how long it would be if you had had a few beers beforehand! 😛

Just got back from seeing the last Harry Potter for the third time!!!

  3. Fun show, caught a bit of the live stream… more planned or just an experiment?

I saw some of the discussed superhero trailers at a showing of Captain America this weekend. Cap was pretty enjoyable but felt rushed, like they were in too much of a hurry to wrap up his story arc in time for The Avengers. I’d like to see more of early Cap in action, which seems rather unlikely now.

Anyway, I’m not so sure about a dark, gritty Spider-man reboot. He’s always been this endearing, wise-cracking goofball, and none of that came across in the trailer.

And I know The Avengers will be entertaining but the trailer fell kinda flat for me. Maybe there just wasn’t enough footage to pull something coherent together in time.
